Since company foundation in 1936, Sibilia has been known as one of the main leading manufacturers of industrial vacuum cleaners in the world. The construction of a cast iron foundry in 1947 was the first Sibilia's industrial reform. Alberto Sibilia, the founder's son, took the technical direction of the company in 1993 and soon after this pioneering company could consolidate its position as a worldwide leadership in the industrial vacuum cleaner sector.

Most of Sibilia vacuum cleaners have been also certified by external and internationally recognized institutes such as TUV and ICIM for filtration efficiency, the recovery and standard disposal of toxic or dangerous substances, protection against the risk of electrostatic discharge and for safe working in environments with risk of explosion.
